I was sitting fussing over a drawing that was not going well, after rejecting several other sketches before they got anywhere. Then I realised that I had closed my commission books in order to draw what I wanted to draw - not to spend hours fussing over a picture. I want my art to be fun and relaxing, not stressful!
So I drew my gryphon character Cotingaa as she would appear if she was a dinosaur. As you can probably tell, she was not too impressed with me at all...
Oh, I love this I can really feel the wieght and texture, along with the gentle, yet powerfull presence your creature has I also really like how you did the background. It doesn't take focus away from the charecter, however it's drawn out and existant enough to make the entire drawing seem complete.
Oh wow! Yeah, she looks likes she wants to reinact Jurassic Park on you!
I love the pic, though! It's very original! I like the colors of your gryphosaur, very vivid! Compliments are so lovely!
I'd comment more, but braindeath has me, so I'll just stare a bit more at your lovely pic before I move along!
I wouldn't be happy with you either, if you changed my awesome wings into stubby arms...

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
